KWA
Community
At KWA, we believe that community is key. Though KWA is continually growing and we're spread out across geographical locations, we've provided several opportunities for you to connect with your fellow Kingdom writers.

Monthly Gatherings
Each month, we gather together for a time of encouragement, support, and community. Due to the pandemic, we’ve been holding these gatherings online and opening them up to everyone. Once Covid restrictions lift, we will be meeting again and providing online live recordings as a members-only benefit.
KWA Chapters
KWA Chapters are writers’ gatherings that can pop up anywhere around the globe. Chapters are led by members who may or may not have experience in leading a group, may or may not have published a book, but they‘ve one thing in common--they are passionate about seeing others respond to their calling to write for the Kingdom. These leaders are aligned with the mission and vision of KWA and use their unique gifts and talents to create a community to encourage, equip, and empower writers of all levels in their own neck of the woods--whether that be within a few miles of our headquarters in San Diego or on the other side of the world
Critique Groups
KWA Critique groups are initiated by individual KWA Members but may include non-members. Critique groups help writers excel by giving serious feedback on their work. Any member can start a critique group by posting their group information on our Kingdom Writers and Members-Only Facebook group pages. Leaders can check out the group format posted on our KWA website or create their own version.
Small Groups
Small groups are life groups for writers--they provide a space for hanging out, supporting, and encouraging each other in the writing journey. Any member can initiate a small group for both members and non-members by posting the information on our Kingdom Writers and Members-Only Facebook group pages.
BOOKENDS
Connection
Program
(members only)
Sometimes, like Moses, we need our Aaron and Hur to come alongside us and hold us up when we feel weak and tired. BOOKENDS provides periodic contact and connection (via your choice of email, text, or call) to hold up our fellow writers on the front lines of their writing journey. Though we cannot provide counseling or coaching, we offer support in the way of listening, encouragement, and prayer.
