Vision Lead / Somerset, KY

Pamela Richards-Woodall is a warrior-survivor of horrific abuses. She shares her story through writings, both fiction and non-fiction, as well as motivational speaking. She believes in the power of encouragement, whether in the form of a smile, a prayerful word, or a hug.

She and her beloved husband, Gary, live on a farm in southern Kentucky. Both she and her husband are published authors. They are developing a portion of their property to create a safe space for various workshops and retreats. Together, they have four adult children and ten grandchildren.

She has authored in her fiction Secret Series, Secrets in the Hollers and Secrets Exposed. The third in the series, Secrets Unraveled, will soon be released. In 2021 she published her first non-fiction books, Finding Hope After Abortion and House Full of Secrets: Human Trafficking and Redemption, both based on her own experiences. She and Gary are working on their first book, Soul Mates: Redeemed and Restored / God’s Amazing Grace.

In her first college writing class, her professor Billy Clark, a famous Kentucky author, told her, “Young lady, you have a God-given gift!” She has been learning to improve her creative expression through her writing and is now the author of four books, with two others soon to be released. Pamela realized at nine years old her love of writing when she wrote her first story, Bear’s Foot Town. Pamela uses her creative talent to capture her book covers in her nature photos she’s often seen shooting in and around Kentucky.

Pamela is Executive Director of Broken Pieces No More Inc, a faith-based ministry she, her husband, and their friend formed. BPNM raises awareness of various forms of child abuse, human trafficking and domestic violence, all of which Pamela has personal experience. Pamela has been an advocate for child abuse awareness for over twenty-five years. They believe, ‘It shouldn’t have to hurt to live in a family!’

Pamela knows without Jesus and her beloved, she would not be here!
